Two additional worldwide programs would do the most to slow climate change: (1) replacing fossil fuel power plants with nuclear power plants; and (2) ending leaks of methane.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Climate warming has been accelerating. Further emissions will increase the acceleration.<\/strong> Therefore, we need to save the most greenhouse gas emissions possible. Green energy can make a significant contribution, but, it will not be sufficient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Therefore, we should utilize nuclear power<\/strong>. Nuclear has the lowest emissions of any energy source. There are new nuclear technologies that are safer and more easily deployed, with less public resist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
