Two additional worldwide programs would do the most to slow climate change: (1) replacing fossil fuel power plants with nuclear power plants; and (2) ending leaks of methane.
Climate warming has been accelerating. Further emissions will increase the acceleration. Therefore, we need to save the most greenhouse gas emissions possible. Green energy can make a significant contribution, but, it will not be sufficient.
Therefore, we should utilize nuclear power. Nuclear has the lowest emissions of any energy source. There are new nuclear technologies that are safer and more easily deployed, with less public resist.
